About Us

Rudy Schmid is a renowned business mentor and author of multiple books focused on entrepreneurship. With over three decades of experience working in the industry, Rudy understands the challenges of the entrepreneurial journey.

His journey started in the late 1950s when he took over his father’s small accounting firm. Over the decades, the firm prospered, and through it, Rudy gained deep insights into various businesses and industries. He witnessed countless success and failure stories that shaped his understanding of what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur.

During 1980, subsequent to the conclusion of the Camp David peace accord, facilitated by President Carter, international trade among the nations surged to unprecedented levels. It was during this period that Rudy became engaged as the accountant for a project in Cairo, Egypt, involving investors from France, the Arab world, and the United States. The project under discussion was the construction of a large hotel on the banks of the Nile River. Meetings were frequent and focused on assessing progress, and it was during one such meeting that Rudy encountered a particularly challenging and surreal experience.

Rudy vividly recalls a specific meeting, seated alongside French, Arabic, and American investors around a sizable conference table, where conversations flowed rapidly in three different languages. His American client later recounted to him the essence of the discussion. During the meeting, Rudy diligently recorded figures concerning costs, projected revenues, and anticipated profits in French francs, Arabic pounds, and US dollars. He meticulously converted all figures into the respective currencies and prepared comprehensive reports in three languages. If ever there was a moment that epitomized the challenges and excitement of his role as an accountant, that meeting certainly qualified.

Such experiences led Rudy to publish several acclaimed books offering financial management strategies and business success stories to help emerging businesses. Through these young entrepreneurs guide books, Rudy aims to fuel the dreams of young founders and provide them with a guiding light on the road to entrepreneurial excellence.

Through his literature, Rudy takes readers behind the scenes of his work as a business mentor. He shares insightful anecdotes and lessons from coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs worldwide. Excerpts from his discussions provide a glimpse of strategies Rudy Schmid employed to assist clients across diverse industries.

Endorsement:

I am aware of Rudy Schmid’s endeavor to write, “The Entrepreneurs Guide”. I have known Rudy my entire life since he first took on my father’s company as a client, the year I was born, in 1959. Throughout the ups and downs of my life, Rudy has been there all along by my families side during my career, 25 years in law enforcement, 21 years in the military and, my decades long endeavors in real estate development and on into my position as (now retired) General Manager of an Asset Management firm in Scottsdale Arizona. His insights and exceptional grasp of finance, business, and tax law, were instrumental in my companies surviving the devastating financial and real estate collapse of 2008. It is because of Rudy Schmid’s technical expertise and literally, 90 years of wisdom, that my three companies are still standing today. So it is without any reservation that I wholeheartedly offer by enthusiastic endorsement of Rudy’s new book “The Entrepreneur’s Guide”. Congratulations Rudy!
